The site for River Breeze Commons, a new 68-unit residential mixed-income development built in Shelton along the Housatonic River, was unveiled in a ceremony officiated by Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz and Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti. Located at 223 Canal St., the four-story River Breeze was designed for households earning between 25% of the area median income to market rate. The development consists of 22 one-bedroom units and 46 two-bedroom units ranging in from 796 to 1,081 square feet. Included are storage rooms, an exercise room, a meeting room, and an on-site resident services coordinator's office.
