The HomeGoods store in Copps Hill Plaza, Danbury Road, Ridgefield, Conn. Monday, September 12, 2022. H John Voorhees III / Hearst Connecticut Media SHELTON — Signs are pointing to HomeGoods coming to the city. A company spokesperson this week said that HomeGoods has not announced a new store for Shelton, but the Planning and Zoning Commission, at its meeting Wednesday, approved signage and exterior design plans that say otherwise. The approvals were given for vacant space in Shelton Square, formerly home to Bed, Bath and Beyond , at 862 Bridgeport Ave.
