Connecticut State Police are investigating the death of a Bridgeport woman on Route 8 in Shelton after, they said, she got out of the car she was driving and was hit by another vehicle.Contributed /Connecticut State PoliceSHELTON — A Bridgeport woman was struck and killed by another car after she got out of her vehicle along a section of Route 8 just after midnight Wednesday, according to police. The collision was reported around 12:13 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway near Exit 13, Connecticut State Police said in a news release.
