Students from Shelton and Derby high schools will be among the honorees at the 40th Scholar-Athlete Banquet. SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Student-athletes from Shelton and Derby high schools have been selected to receive the prestigious Scholar-Athlete Award from the Connecticut Association of Schools - Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CAS-CIAC). The organization will honor and celebrate 350 Connecticut scholar-athletes Sunday at the 40th annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.
